Wakeman played the piano on "Morning Has Broken" by Pet Cat Stevens for his 1971 cd, Teaser as well as the Firecat. He was left out from the credit scores, and also for several years, was not paid; Stevens later apologised as well as compensated Wakeman for the mistake. Various other sessions that included Wakeman throughout this moment were 3 tracks on Psycho Across the Water by Elton John, as well as "Modifications", "Oh! You Pretty Points", and "Life on Mars?" for Bowie's album Hunky Dory. Bowie invited Wakeman to his home and also played the overview of the tracks for him to find out; Wakeman later on called them "the finest choice of songs I have actually ever before heard in one being in my whole life".
