The company originated from a shop opened in Fa Yuen Road, Hong Kong in 1932. There are now a total of four specialty stores in Hong Kong, with the Central branch on Wellington Road. They are celebrated for selling authentic Chinese foods, including New Year food, Moon Festival pastry, zongzi for the Dragon Boat Festival, and confinement diet like pig's feet and ginger.
